Have you ever thought about working for a rapidly growing startup company and stepping directly into a prominent leadership role there?

We are pleased to announce that one of our own RallyPoint members just took a shot at an opportunity of a lifetime and successfully landed a job with one of the fastest growing startups in the San Francisco Bay Area.

West Point graduate and Army Veteran CPT Dave Borgognoni recently accepted a job offer to become the Director of Operations at a highly accelerated startup called Rinse.  Rinse is creating a seamless dry cleaning & laundry experience for regional customers through a combination of technology, incredible customer service, and strong back-end partnerships.

The Co-Founder of Rinse, James Joun, came to RallyPoint in search of a veteran motivated and talented enough to fill his Director of Operations role. Sure enough, he found exactly what he was looking for.

"I reached out to Yinon Weiss (RallyPoint CEO) in October in hopes of finding a veteran who had the leadership ability to stand up our critical operations at Rinse. Dave’s background as a Company Commander, Executive Officer, and Ranger Platoon Leader stood out and proves he has what it takes to lead our operations team.”

Dave describes, ”I came across this job on the RallyPoint Civilian Employment page soon after setting up a profile and searching the site for opportunities. This position aligned with my business and military experience.  RallyPoint was an easy interface to serach companies looking to hire.   I’d recommend other veterans maximize their job search opportunity using RallyPoint.  The first step was creating a profile.  It was fast and free.  The site is full of like minded business and military professionals.  I will now use this resource as a hiring manager.”

Companies across the country are using RallyPoint right now to reach top military talent.  In the first quarter of 2014, we will be introducing an exclusive 'talent search' subscription access for corporate recruiters.  This will really enable companies like Rinse to contact the specific veterans with backgrounds they're looking for.  This is a great reason to keep your RallyPoint profile up to date and seek endorsements from other service members you served with.

RallyPoint members have tremendously diverse military and industry backgrounds that are perfect for talent recruiting efforts from companies in the startup world or those on the Fortune 500 list. We encourage all veterans currently in industry to reach out to your past units and show your brothers and sisters how it's done.
