Nicknames: we've all had them at some point. Some of them, we hated. Some of them, we loved.
In the military, nicknames are often used as a lighthearted way to poke fun at one of your brothers or sisters in arms, really as a way of building family and camaraderie in the unit.
We would guess that the individuals who most often get nicknames in the military are the junior officers. For example, one of us was called "Princess" as an O-1. That's about as much as you're getting of that story!
